Following a major fire to a large farmhouse in Lincolnshire, CertusPM was appointed to carry out the roof replacement and internal refurbishment whilst also acting as principal contractor.
Following a structural survey, it was found that the roof had to be replaced in its entirety. This required the installation of a complex design scaffold with top hat arrangement to protect the building from the elements during the removal and installation of new trusses and roof coverings.
The internals suffered fire and smoke damage and required a major refurbishment with much of the first floor having to be demolished and reconstructed.
Working closely with both the homeowner and loss adjustor throughout, we delivered a high-end finish in line with the homeowner’s choices and specifications.
Reinstatement works included:
- Installation of design scaffold and replace roof trusses and roof coverings
- Demolition of first floor internals
- Installation of new partitions, plastering, doors and general joinery
- Installation of new central heating system
- Installation of 3 new bathroom suites
- Installation of solid hardwood ash & oak flooring throughout
- Full decoration throughout
