Formed in 2017 Certus is a family-owned, regional construction company. 

We cover Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottingham and Derbyshire.

We have experience working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, loss adjustors & insurance companies, main contractors and private developers in the domestic, residential, public and commercial sectors.

Principal Building Contractor

We are CHAS accredited Principal Building Contractors. We have in place an extensive materials supply chain and along with our directly employed trades workforce a network of approved specialist sub-contractors. We have experience working directly for clients as a principal contractor.

Building Surveying & Quantity Surveying Services

Our surveying functions are headed by a qualified chartered building surveyor and quantity surveyor. We can provide a range of services from inspection, defect diagnosis, specification, party wall support and scheduling of work along with detailed costings, budget management and commercial & contract support.

Sub-Contract Service

As well as being principal contractors we have experience working with large regional and national contractors. We can offer a range of services from full turnkey solutions to supplying and coordinating individual packages. Our in-house experience ensures we fully understand the main contractor’s requirements and we can actively support through pre-construction up to, and beyond, completion.

Project Management

We can project manage the schemes by undertaking all necessary communications and liaisons with clients, project managers, building occupiers, tenants, residents and leaseholders. We have experience working with vulnerable people and older adults and understand the care and attention needed when undertaking construction projects to a varied client group.
